Thanksgiving Bust

Sadly, the boys came down with a fever the day before Thanksgiving, which was a bummer. They seemed to be on the mend Thanksgiving morning so we rallied and headed to Bruceville. After an hour in the car ... and 5 stops ... we turned around and headed home. We were so sad to miss family time with the cousins and a visit to the farm.

We had to improvise at home ... the boys were pretty disappointed about missing the farm so we had to bribe them with craft projects, a visit to the neighborhood Christmas decorations, and turkey tacos (the best I could do with no food in the house!). We ended up having some nice family time for the long weekend but definitely missed on our annual trip!
