Spring Break at the Farm

We had a great 24 hours at the farm with Nonnie and Gramps. We loved spending so much time together - I feel like Nonnie and Gramps really know the boys' different personalities now and the boys definitely are comfortable around their Great Grandparents. We soaked up the great weather and everything the farm had to offer:

Daniel ringing the bell (a lot):

Andrew in the swing:

The crew getting ready to head down to see the cows:

Love this pic of Gramps with the boys:

The crew checking out the donkeys:

This cow decided to chase us across the fields about 5 minutes later ... we are talking top speeds!

I think we might have worn out Nonnie and Gramps a little:

They loved practicing all of their gym moves too. I set up an obstacle course that Daniel kept calling a "popsicle course." Pretty impressive forward rolls these days. Andrew hanging around:

Daniel too:

Gramps tried to rough up the boys a little. Andrew was really into and played harder than I've ever seen. Daniel was more interested in picking and preserving his flowers :)

There was some kite flying too.

It was crazy windy out there so didn't take too long for the kite to end up here:

The kids LOVED the golf cart:

And the tractor too. Andrew and Gramps:

Spring is such a great time at the farm. The flowers are starting to bloom, the weather is great and there are a million butterflies. Here we are on a butterfly hunt:

The boys watched "Cars" for most of the ride and finally conked out when we reached the beltway .... so they slept the last 15 minutes of the car trip.
