Lego fest at Reliant was awesome! I'm not sure who had more fun - them or us! We started in the duplo pile where the boys probably would have been happy for the full 5 hours. They walked on the duplo pile and did some building as well.
Andrew lego surfing:
Building:
Checking out lego Lightning McQueen:
And one for Robert too:
They had stations all over the convention hall with different building themes. Mommy got to build a little too:
Then we found the mega lego pile. It was huge and fantastic!
Burying daddy:
They each got to build a car and race them down the track. Daniel really wanted to build a car like Mommy's but we couldn't find enough black pieces.
Bissel had a station where you could vacuum the legos. We did this twice :)
Daniel:
Andrew and Max:
Creation Nation. Each kid got to build on a 5 x 5 pad and then you choose where to place it in the giant lego United States outline. Apparently there will be a Houston picture of the US online so I'll have to go find it. We put ours in Alaska:
Some teamwork with the legos:
And practicing our backstroke:
Really fun, exhausting day!!
