Spring Farm trip

What a great time to go to Central Texas. We visited Nonnie and Gramps last weekend in Bruceville and loved spending some quality time with them as well as seeing the farm in full bloom. It was a great 24 hours!

Here are some highlights. Gramps showing the boys a Daddy long legs - Daniel was brave enough to hold the "itsy bitsy spider" that really wasn't that itsy bitsy!

Our hosts: Nonnie and Gramps:

There were some beautiful patches of bluebonnets. They make such great pictures.

They loved helping Gramps raise the American flag up the flagpole:

We did a little golf cart riding ... until it blew a fuse and we had to hike it home! The boys did great though.

More bluebonnets:

Daniel, left and Andrew, right.

One of my favorite views in the country:

We hit up the gym at GFC and enjoyed some ribbon dancing. Don't tell.

Then we flew our Mickey kite.

It was a beautiful evening to enjoy the rocking chairs on the front porch of the farmhouse:

A & D spent some downtime with their new school buses in the house:

And did a little cooking on the 1900's stove. Until we realized it was actually pretty gross in there. Oops!

It was a great trip had by all ... I think we are all still exhausted though!
