The boys got a little spring break present and it requires helmets. We headed to Academy to let them pick them out and then it got ugly. I knew it would be a challenge. We forced the helmets on to check fit and the boys screamed for about 10 minutes.
We got home, and they wanted nothing to do with the helmets. So, Robert and I proceeded to wear our bike helmets through lunch and for the next hour, casually bringing them into conversation every couple of minutes. Sure enough, after a couple of hours, Daniel quietly says "I want a helmet." So we wore our helmets and watched a few Elmo helmet safety videos. It was certainly a start!
A little more immersion and we should be on the scooters soon enough! Pictures to come!
