Red, White and Blue

We had a great and very busy Fourth of July (and VERY exhausted (Read: Cranky) on this Fifth of July to prove it! )

We started off early with the Villages Parade, which was a huge hit... particular with lollipops started raining down on us...

Daniel, left, and Andrew, right, enjoying the parade, which was filled with fire trucks and lots of convertibles - even a marching band.

Bradley and Steph joined us as well:

Once the parade was over, we headed to the festival where the boys rode in the firetruck;

Jumped in the bounce house;

And ate a lot of snow cones. "Cheers":

 Yum, Yum (Daniel, left and Andrew, right)

We feasted on BBQ with the Grandparents at our house before naps (whoops! No pics!) and then headed to friend's for swimming and dinner. The kiddos at the table:

Then they enjoyed some Mickey together on the sofa while the adults ate dinner.

We got home around 7:30, showered, and put on PJs. Kids are usually in bed by 7 but we persevered and got them in the mood with the NYC firework display:

Then we loaded up the car and headed out to watch fireworks... ready in the bleachers:

Popsie and KK surprised us in the bleachers:

And then we saw an amazing fireworks display with the best seats in the house!

Here is an audio of the boys first reaction ... they kept that dialog up for the entire 15 minute show and it was precious. Love making these special memories everyday but especially on the Holidays!
