Out with the old and in with the new! The boys were VERY involved with the move out process. They brought their tool kids to disassemble the beds, and they even helped daddy carry the mattresses out of their rooms ...
Five hours later (and one nap at KK and Popsie's house), we completely rearranged the room, cleaned out the closets and we officially have "Big Boy" rooms!
We love snuggling up for story night at night:
Ellie is probably the happiest ... she hops from one bed to the other and cuddles right in. I'm glad she appreciates the choo choo sheets.
The beds are done but the rest is a work in progress. Still waiting on our new dresser and Robert will paint the shelves navy blue at some point. It looks pretty cute though and there is SO much more room to play in there now.

Overall, they have done great with the transition. So great that nap time extended to about 5 hours, which meant bedtime became a struggle. I think we are starting to balance out though and bed time has been a breeze. Neither gets out of bed on their own and call for us when they want to get out of bed. How did we get so lucky???
