These guys are FIVE!

Daniel loves school, his buddies and reading. He is a reading MACHINE! Other than playing cars and Ipad, he loves to create books where we write the stories together and then he illustrates them. He must have created a library of 30 books by now. Amazing because he can then read the books that he created. He broke his foot this month by jumping off the playhouse but he's making a great recovery. He can get around with his boot as if nothing was wrong. He can keep up on the playground too. He notices EVERYTHING (ie. he's the first to tell me he likes my new top or something new in the house). He is constantly smiling and just the sweetest boy.

Andrew also loves school and his teachers. His class is a little more rambunctious but he seems to be finding his place well. I think he still gravitates to his friends from last year though when given the choice. He is LOVING sports, especially soccer. He is still flying high from his two goals at the season finale in November. He also loves legos and can do an entire lego kit by himself. Then, he is so proud of his creation and must show everybody. It's the cutest thing. Andrew's reading has really taken off. He sounds out words and can figure them out. Most importantly, he remembers the words from previous pages and doesn't have to sound them out again. So proud of him for working hard on this when there are so many other things he'd prefer to do.

Both boys are a dream. We are constantly amazed at how they have grown and they are truly kids now ... toddlers no more. We are so lucky they have each other, making the transition with Helen so much easier (for them and me). It's hard to believe they will be starting Kinder in a few short months.
