Helen is ONE!

We can not believe Helen is already one! What a year! She is the perfect addition to the family and worth every struggle and heartbreak to get her here. I knew she would be! She celebrated this day with lots of hugs and kisses from her brothers, she hosted her new playgroup at our house, she pulled up on her crib for the first time ... and then everything else too, she loved cake, and she did a lot of drooling with these new teeth coming in.

She currently has 1 full top tooth and 3 full bottom, 1 top and 1 bottom are about half way in as well so she looks like a jack-o-lantern right now. A cute one though.

She completely transitioned off bottles and loves her sippy cup. She loves whole milk too. No more formula! Her favorite past times are pulling out her bows, pointing at everything, chasing ellie, and eating (food AND non-food).  She waves, blows kisses, claps, and knows exactly where we keep the baby cheetos. I've heard her say bye, hi, mama (when she really wants something in a very whiny voice) and dada (when she's super happy she chants dada dada dada dada). She loves baths, walks, wires, electrical outlets, fuzz and feathers found on the ground, Ellie, Ellie and Ellie. She hates bows and she's not a real big fan of her bouncer anymore. She is FAST. I mean, really FAST.

She started music class and thinks she's the class clown. It's amazing how different she is from the boys. She is so social and is happy all the way across the room from me, sometimes in another mom's lap. She flirts with all the babies and moms and then comes racing back to me for a hug. She loves the parachute, which I'm pretty sure the boys still don't like.

The party was very fun and low key. I was very excited to decorate in pink :) We had a snow cone truck and just a few friends for some outside fun.

She loved her cupcake on her actual birthday but was a little overwhelmed at the party. She's definitely my daughter -digging into that cake!
