19 Months!

We finally got around to our 18 Month Check up ... just 4 weeks late. We had to cancel 2 appointments b/c the boys both had fevers at different times over the last 3 weeks - then when we finally made it to our 3rd appointment (I refused to cancel) Andrew still had a fever w/i 24 hours so his shots were delayed. These kids will do ANYTHING to get out of a few shots :)

Here are our stats:

Andrew:

26 lbs (48%)

2'9.25'' (70%)

Daniel:

25lbs 8 oz (40%)

2'9'' (63%)

I think the guys have definitely shot up in height over the last few weeks and their weight can't keep up! Although due to recent illness (3 times!), they haven't been eating that well.

Anyway, Andrew and Daniel are doing great and have changed so much in the last few weeks. They are little parrots - repeating everything we say. They learn so many words each day that I can't keep up - It's really amazing. They are also so much more independent - as I'm writing this they are running around the house, talking to each other and exploring. I'm so lucky I don't have climbers and they are generally pretty good about not "touch and destroy." Maybe that's because there is nothing left in their reach though ...

A couple of pics from the past week or so (My job has become crazy busy so I've been slacking on the pictures):

We are still mastering this whole spoon thing. There is more applesauce on their shirts then in their tummy but they sure have fun experimenting with utensils.

They LOVE to sit in their "boats" and then "request" certain toys brought to them so they can still play without leaving the boat. They are like little Kings on their throne ordering me around. I take the abuse ...

Lately they have been very into their blankies ... I think it's adorable when they drag them around the house.

We have also been hitting all of the pools around town. Of course, I have no pictures b/c that is a two adult, full-focus job. I got this quick snapsnot of Andrew at the YMCA pool ... LOVING it!

Daniel was in an "I hate swimming mode" ... promise that's not Daniel after too much sun in the picture above. :) Hopefully I can get some good swimming pics over the long weekend ahead.
