Bayou Wildlife Safari

Our other big spring break outing was a trip to the "safari" in Alvin, Tx. This place was absolutely amazing. Here are the two craziest animals out there:

Andrew the Ostrich:

Daniel the Giraffe:

Feeding the deer before we got started. This guy later stole Daniel's sandwich right off his plate. Luckily, Daniel thought it was hilarious!

Ready to roll with the Luz and Tulley boys. So proud of the boys for being "brave" and sitting up front:

This ostrich was insane. He came right up and almost pecked this bowl right out of our hands. The Ostrich was by far Daniel's favorite:

The llama was much tamer and was very sweet with Daniel:

Andrew got in on the Elk action:

This guy. Wow, he got his longhorns stuck inside the tram and it was pretty scary. The noise alone from the horns rattling on the metal was enough to freak you out ... I really thought we were going to be gored.

Cindy the camel was huge and hopped right into the front car of the trap for a snack:

Check out our friends on the animal wall. My favorite is Sam, facing the wrong way:

A pic of me with most of the boys in our crew. Adorable little guys:

Andrew loved yet another pony ride:

After a bit of coaxing... Daniel did too.

We hit Frobergs next for some fresh strawberry picking. This was so fun and the strawberries are AMAZING! We should have picked more but "nature called" and we got to use our first real port-o-potty. Lovely.

Such a fun outing and the boys ate up each of the new experiences.
