Go Texan Day, Rodeo, Carnival and Rodeo again

We really got in on Rodeo Houston this year. All dressed up for Go Texan Day at school. Daniel, left and Andrew, right:

Andrew and Daniel got to lead the parade for Mrs. Cagle's class. They were very proud to hold the class sign on the parade route:

The carnival at school was so cute. Daniel loved the petting zoo. This deer later ate the entire sash on my sweater .... it was lovely.

We headed to the livestock show and carnival with Popsie. Pretty impressive cows back there:

The flying elephant ride! Daniel flipped out and ran away right as we were about to get on - screaming.

I forced him on the ride and he was all smiles the minute he strapped in. I know how to work this kid now!

Robert and I took them to the actual Rodeo show last night and it was fun .... for a little over an hour. The highlight was buying these ridiculously expensive glowsticks:

Oh and the cotton candy ...

 and popcorn....

Frankly, I think the little dudes were just exhausted .... they passed out on the way home.

Fun rodeo times though and great memories. Glad to not have to deal with a petting zoo for a little while though (yuck!)
