The boys are three weeks old!

Its hard to believe the boys are already three weeks old! They have changed so much since their birth date - it's really amazing. We have a pediatrician appointment tomorrow and I can't wait to see how much they have grown. I'm guessing they have each gained at least a pound ... they are definitely packing on the weight!

We've also noticed that they have "woken up" lately .... gone are the days of feeding them and then the kiddos going back to sleep immediately. On one hand, its exciting because they are more engaging - making eye contact, holding their heads up a little and of course the occasional adorable smile! On the other hand, it's not so cute from 11 pm - 4 am when they won't go to sleep and are really fussy. Such is a life with two newborns!

We've had a nice week though. We celebrated the last night of Hanukkah with the boys who we have to imagine will enjoy the holiday a bit more next year (they don't look so happy in this picture):



Also, the weather finally cleared up a bit so we went for our first walk yesterday! We had a bit of an entourage but only saw a few people on the walk ... we were hoping to show off the boys to the whole neighborhood!!



Dad thought he'd get to push the stroller first but I had other ideas ...

Lastly, we have started tummy time! Our biggest challenge is making sure Ellie doesn't kiss the boys heads and sniff the diapers. We have to play a lot of interference so it isn't too relaxing:



We also had a few visitors this week. Carly came to visit and held her first infant as well as fed Andrew - He took his whole bottle and were just as proud of Andrew as we were of Carly!



Also, we gave Jonathan a tour of life with twins ... He and Brooke are expecting in February. We thought we scared him - especially during diaper change time when there was a large "fountain" incident but apparently he doesn't scare easily!
